Handling face to face situation
For Travel and Tourism class, I was asked
to perform a role play for 5 minutes about “handling
face to face situation”.
My role was to be the manager of a hotel and handle a customer’s request of an early check-in but the room was not ready. Before the role play I was nervous to speak confidently in front of all, when I remembered having been brave on other occasions, I thought to just give it a go. To my big surprise, I was able to perform well.A classmate and my Travel and Tourism teacher asked me a few questions. I was able to answer them confidently.
All were happy with my work and they clapped for me.
This made my day!

MY READING AID
I am a visual impaired child and had many medical interventions to improve my eye sight. Now I am using an incredible machine that changed my life. Like other children, even I like to spend my free-time reading books. Unfortunately, I could not read small print due to my low vision. This was also affecting me in my learning.
An eye specialist, had suggested an aid for my low vision. This is a specially designed magnifying machine which can zoom in and change the color of the text, making it more interesting and readable.
Using this machine, made me an independent reader and today I am able to read a variety of books of my choice. Thanks to this machine, I am able to find words in the dictionary which was impossible for me to do.
I wanted to share this experience with others so that no one should lose hope as there is mostly always something to improve one’s needs.
